Presentation Day Newsletter

Not long now until our presentation day! We’ll have lots going on and we will have a licensed bar run by the parish council on the day-please drink responsibly and walk/get a taxi/car share where appropriate.

 

Regarding parking we won’t know if we have additional car spaces on the field until Friday afternoon after a pitch inspection-we need to see what rain comes our way first-as we don't wish for the field to churn up! If the field cannot be used for additional parking then the village will be marshalled on arrival and you’ll be directed to side roads-WE CANNOT BLOCK BUSES ETC ON THE MAIN ROAD. PLEASE ALSO CAR SHARE WHERE POSSIBLE.  

 

Thanks all for your support regarding hamper donations-and to Michelle and her helpers for spending time collecting and organising everything!

Please bring a bottle of something on the day if you have anything spare for the tombola-doesn’t need to be alcohol, soft drink, bubble bath, whatever!

​

Remember-bring a picnic, snacks etc, blanket and gazebo if you have-there will be a variety of drinks and sweets available to purchase though we are not offering food.

​

You can bring dogs as it’s a recreation field-however we ask to keep all dogs on leads during the day and for you to remember poop bags!

​

Fun mini matches, games and inflatables will be here! We are charging £1 per go on the fun games/inflatable or providing wristbands for £5  for unlimited use (managed via capacity and fair use).

Please check your team's time slot and be near the village hall 5 mins prior to your team's presentation. (We’ve listened to feedback and rather than have all teams together for over an hour in one spot we will do team by team).
